It’s what I miss about physical books. One of the saddest things you can do with a book is read it once and put it on a shelf. A fulfilled book should have stories of the places it’s been and the people it’s met. Then, and only then, should it reveal it’s story.
I’ve been using an ereader lately while I’ve been living a minimal existence, but nothing like turning pages for real, or thumbing through pages to check on something you read earlier. Ereaders are convenient but suck otherwise
Oh and the beam is because they are actually in my mostly unfinished basement. Should have turned one of the bedrooms into a library probably but oh well. No light there to hurt them anyways. 🙂
Ahhh…that’s what happens when you have 3600 sq ft and only two people. It’s way too big. Fortunately in PG that doesn’t really mean expensive. Trade offs.

Wonderful philosophy Randy!
A nice heavy book is useful for accidentally dropping on someone’s foot.
Maybe not such a wonderful philosophy….. 😉
Just a useful one.
used book stores are one of the first places I seek out when visiting a new town…untold treasures to be found

No ereaders here! I love books. As long as they aren’t to realistic. Lol 🙂
Jealous of your bookshelves… 😀
IKEA ftw! :). Chapters for the filler. Lol
Maybe I should clarify…I am jealous of the space you have to put those bookshelves 😉
