Garden Dinosaurs (123/365/2023)

by The Philosophical Fish

I was wandering around the garden to see what was busy exploding out of the ground. It seems like things have suddenly gone into speed-grow mode with a few days of warmer weather.

I love ferns, I probably have close to a dozen different kinds. One of my favourites is the Hart’s Tongue fern. I love its broad fronds, more like leaves than typical fern fronds. It provides some year round green in the garden when so much disappears. But I’ve never really looked at them from this angle before, or at least not at this point in their unfurling.

They look like a herd of brontosaurus to me ☺️

I'd love to hear from you :)
