Just a random kitchen object turned into a somewhat interesting black and white image.

This is a coarse conical strainer that I use for removing seeds and skins from sauces when I am too lazy to peel and seed things. It also does an excellent job of providing fairly smooth soups. But if I ‘really’ want to get them smooth, I pull out the chinois…though I usually run things through this first so the chinois doesn’t clog up as quickly.

I’m not really a gadget sort of person, and this probably doesn’t completely qualify as a gadget, but it’s super useful when I do use it.
