14 km in the end…..because it wasn’t stinking hot and the sun was finally hiding behind a layer of clouds for a change.
Found a trail that I had previously never been on. Tuesday, when I was out hiking between meetings, I could see another person coming down the stairs I would have to go up once I came around a corner gulley….but when I reached that point he’d vanished without passing me. So, today, I set out to find that trail, assuming it connected with one I never go down because I had always thought it was a one-way-in-same-way-out trail. We found it, but came back up a slightly different way, only to discover this sign warning against going down…which we didn’t…we came up. Might be useful to have warnings at both ends….it was definitely a scramble in places. 😂
