Late Bloomer

The toad lilies are pretty much the last thing to bloom in my garden, and they bloom late into the fall when everything around them is dying back. I love their little speckled flowers and how they provide a bright spot during the shortening days. I had them at the last place we lived, and I will continue to always have them in any garden I grow in the future.

But such a terrible name.
