A love of shapes

Bosa Foods is an Italian/Mediterranean specialty grocery store in Vancouver and I love going there. The cheeses, the olives, the meats, the breads, the olive oils, the balsamic vinegars….it’s foodie heaven.

But none of those are in my favourite aisle. No…my favourite aisle, and it’s an entire aisle, the width of the store, both sides, top to bottom….pasta.

Every shape you could ever imagine, for every dish you could ever want to cook with pasta.

If you can’t find it at Bosa, it’s not worth finding.

Tonight was a pasta night and I really had no other inspiration. I spent the day on the computer, meetings, a physiology seminar on Zoom, another meeting, review a document, write a research support letter…. try to decide if I’m on board with a new organizational model..it was a day, a day without thought to picking up my camera, and then suddenly it was dinner time.

So this was one of those “I got nuthin” shots.

For me, it’s a toss-up between this shape and radiatori (they resemble radiators) as a favourite. Does anyone else have a favourite pasta shape? It can’t be just me…..
