Did anyone else watch Bob Ross when they were younger?

I used to love watching his tv show and watch him paint. He was a little weird, I can admit that. I still have a couple of his painting books, they were in Mom’s house when I cleaned it out and sold it…..they were a nice memory to keep.

Well, here is one from my camera, I lifted it as I accidentally pressed the shutter release, so…I’m going to call this a happy little accident because I sort of like the streams of yellow and green, and today was so crazy busy with things bouncing all over the place and juggling multiple balls at one…and forgetting I’d started emails to only find them hours later and think “Oh shit, I haven’t sent that yet!?!? Where was my mind going when I was writing that….how did I intend to finish?!?”

So I’m ok with this, mainly because it reflects my brain today.

After two weeks away from the computer, today was the first day back trying to sift through things and respond to as much as I could. I don’t feel like I got much of anything done because I was trying to respond to too many things, but that’s also sort of the nature of the game.

I don’t like it, but I’m trying to get better at accepting what I can manage and managing what I can’t accept.

Here is my happy little abstract accident.

Can you see my rhododendrons? How about the wind chimes at the bottom right? Those are obvious, right?
