I love the look of them; little propellors waiting to be blown on the wind to some new location to put down roots and take up residence.
The downside is the exact same thing; that they pop up everywhere and I am forever pulling out baby maple trees around the yard.
The big tree that resides in the yard, and hangs over into our private walled courtyard, is absolutely stunning year round, and Queydo (above) crouches guard over us under the maple tree….but I could do without the little “weedlings”.
