A weed, but a pretty weed.

Mom used to enjoy them when she came to visit; the blooms are delicate and lovely, and they only last a day. She convinced me once to plant on in the garden….I realized fairly quickly that it was a bad idea and pulled it out.

Truth be told, you can buy seeds for them, but why would you? What is it that they say? Every pretty flower is a weed somewhere?

If nothing else, it tarts up a chain link fence.
