I’m having one of those days. I have too many things on my plate, and about this much mental energy to tackle them.
I stepped outside the front door in my housecoat this morning so I could put out the containers that are to be picked up when my weekly SPUD delivery arrives.
I almost put them down right on top of this little guy, who was slowly and carefully making his way across the tile out front.
Sometimes I wish I could slow down and just take things as they come….but then again…is that how a snail perceives the world? Does a snail really move “carefully”? Does it feel slow to it as it creeps across the tiles? Does the “normal” pace of our world even register, or does our world’s pace move too fast to even be a component of the scenery?
