Every time I open a can with a can opener, I still expect a cat to materialize at my feel or on the counter behind me.
Miss my boys.
Although it would always have been Loki, or Tiko before him.
Loki could be in a dead sleep in a far upstairs corner of the house and if I cracked a can he would be instantly awake and somehow teleport to the kitchen.
Milo couldn’t have cared less about human food and only wanted his kibble. A can opener was no attractant for that one, though it would signal that dinner was on its way. Yesterday would have been Milo’s 16th birthday. :'(
