Honestly, Gizmo is a little disgusting when he repeatedly dunks his head, flings water everywhere, and comes up drooling like a St. Bernard. The result is less than elegant.
He’s so happy when the sun comes out, and quite proud of himself when he takes a bath. The little monster seems to be feeling particularly well these past couple of days, for such an old guy. When he’s not sleeping he’s being some sort of a tyrant or destroying whatever box I’ve tossed on top of his cage.
This is MY box!! Touch it at your own peril!!
The box sat here for a week largely untouched, until I flipped it over five minutes ago. Now it’s new territory that must be defended at all cost.
Funny how a 130g bird can be more threatening than a pitbull.
