November 8, 2015 – Not much to say today, it was a quiet Sunday, and that’s just what was needed.
The last five weeks have been full of sadness and reflection, and I’m sure that won’t end for some time, but the collective remembrance is over and now it will just be those unexpected waves of grief that will arrive for odd reasons. I know they will lessen over time, but never go away completely; Three years later and I still miss Mom’s Sunday morning phone calls, and now little things that twig recollections of times with Dad will join those bittersweet moments. Sights, smells, and sounds will jog a memory and create a pause.
So the photo for the day is just a simple pile of pins.
