October 6, 2015 – I was flipping through one of Mom’s photo albums this evening, this one spanned from Christmas 1965 when Mom, Dad, and my older brother moved into the new house on Garvin Street; it spans until the summer of 1968.
June 1967, that’s me at 7 weeks old.
Looks like Dad needed a break but I’m still ready to go.
We so often fail to appreciate how fleeting time is…..

Instant water works. Hugs.
Hey! Paige. I remember you when you were at wee on at Grandma and Grandpa’s place in Salmon Arm as well as all the Christmases. Your Dad, my Dad and your Grandpa would discuss politics. They were polar opposites. The kids would play ‘Fish.’ Derek would win much to my chagrin. Take care. Thinking of you. Hugs! Janene White
Great memories. So many celebrations spent there, it makes me sad that that part of my life is over and those places are all in the hands of different owners, but I’m grateful for the memories.
Yes, I understand and feel that same. It is like a piece of your heart has been taken away.
