March 23, 2015 – I’d been to London in the early ’80’s and thought the underworld scene was fascinating. I also went through a bit of a dark period in my life around that time, as a teenager with parents going through a divorce. I wasn’t the happiest girl back then.
I fell in love with the goth look that was emerging out of the UK at that time, though I didn’t do it quite so darkly. I was probably somewhere in between that and the Platinum Blonde look. I certainly had the hair. So call it a throwback to my college days when I had a stark white mohawk, wore virtually nothing but black (OK, so some things stay the same 25+ years later), had a snake ring for every finger.
I love this little Links of London bracelet with it’s teeny tiny silver skulls, and it’s sort of my favourite go-to piece of jewellery these days. It’s fun to dress up nicely for the office, and then have a little bit of rebel on my wrist 🙂
It was a quiet day off today, and I was in a bit of an off mood after being caught in a rainstorm when I went for a walk…so this is it for a photo today. So it was just a random object kind of day…
Some days are just like that though 😉

Ah…I miss the mohawk days. It was so easy to pick you out in a crowd. 🙂
I never thought about it…but I suppose it was 😀
