March 22, 2015 – We spent the morning down at Burrard Yacht Club sending another crop of students out on boats to do some on-the-water training exercises in plotting and conning. And we got lucky as the rain started within an hour of the cruise ending.
Kirk and I opted to stay ashore….after 16 years of doing this, it’s nice to back away a little bit. New blood brings new ideas and new enthusiasm. So we come visit, take photos, socialize, and enjoy being around the Club and near the water, have a bite to eat, and share stories.
Probably the most entertaining part was a pair of Canada Geese, one of which was quite obviously defending his mate from the reflection in the hull of our friends sailboat. He was flinging himself against their boat for hours! Not the sharpest tool in the shed….

Thank you 🙂
We had a cardinal once that kept attacking my husband’s truck. It happened year after year. Seen in 115 pictures in 2015
We had a blue tit in the garden seeing his reflection in our livingroom window, we had so much fun about that. Seen in 115 pictures in 2015
