Pee Wee Rides Again (66/365)

March 7, 2015 – Kirk went down to the boat to do some work today, and that left me without wheels. Well, yes, I do have the motorcycle, but I don’t really like it for around town or for errands.

So it seemed like a good day to get the insurance back on the little bike, a.k.a. Pee Wee.

Light, nimble, economical…..it’s such an efficient, and very, very, fun, way to get around.

I just love this little bike. I bought it back in 2009 and it just never gets old. I can’t help but smile every time I fire it up 🙂

Seems like a silly little thing compared to the big bike, but it’s so very, very, very, fun to ride and I have no intention of getting rid of it any time soon.

I'd love to hear from you :)

I agree 😉 I <3 my Vespa Scoot!!! Her name is "SpeedRacer" hahaha! $7.00 now to fill it up and oh about 175kms to a tank of gas 😀 I wear full gear and pin it as much as I can 😉 50cc's only goes so fast, hahaha

I filled it up today but forgot to look, but it was dead empty so I’m guessing it was about $9.00 to fill…and it’ll go about 200+km on that. Can’t beat that sort of fuel efficiency for booting around town.

I’ve had it up to 97km/hr through the causeway 😀 No false moves at that speed on those little 13″ wheels 😉

Hahaha totally! I about ate it as I got a speed wobble booking down Capilano Road at Elton corner doing 93 hahaha! Thank god I had my full heavy bike leathers on at the time. Fun but scary but I actually cranked a good lean and hoped for the best! Thankfully she held her ground and we survived another day! 😉

The reason you love it so much is because it is simple and fun!! Sometimes the simple option is the best!

how many cc’s? my scooter is a 125 which I am totally illegally driving but I never get stopped at road checks when I flash my pasty-white face at the police…they wave me right on through, not wanting to bother with overcoming the language barrier 😀

Carol, Christine and I both have 50cc scooters, but we ride them like we think they are sport bikes 😉
