50-52-2014: All that glitters…

December 14, 2014 – It’s been a busy December…who am I kidding, it’s been a busy year. I don’t ever remember Decembers being so busy, and I’m so far behind in a number of things. No gifts purchased, only some cards mailed away, more to do yet, but at least we did get some decorations up.

Funny how it seems so important to pay tribute to the season and decorate with glittery ornaments. And then, within two weeks, I can’t wait to box it all up and clear away the clutter.

But I’m not there yet, still enjoying the tree, Mom’s bear tree, with our ugly, ugly Black-Eyed-Santa on top 😉

Still enjoying coming home to pretty things adorning various nooks.

Now, if Santa would bring me some real winter and a good dump of snow …. that would make me very happy 😀
