March 3, 2013 – Wow! March already. Where did that time go? But it’s great, because it means the darker days are behind us. The miserable days will be fewer, and there will be more light. Daylight savings time comes into effect next week. It’s been miserable lately, but isn’t it just amazing how sunlight, even one day of it, can make all the difference in the world.
Attitudes lighten up, moods brighten up, things that might upset you on a rainy day don’t matter quite so much. People on the street look you in the eye, smile, and say hello.
Today was simply gorgeous. Yesterday was a monsoon, then it was windy all night, and that wind blew the crappy weather away. It might come back soon, but who cares, right now it doesn’t matter because the sun is out and that means we have short memories, we drink the sunshine in and revel in it.
I am a creature so significantly affected by my environment. Sometimes the rain becomes too much, the grey becomes distressing. I don’t always realize what is causing the weight, but the weather is usually a factor.
Life is easier when the sun comes to visit. Don’t you think?

Nice work. Wonderfully vibrant & I love the tight cropping. Think of us in the southern hemisphere as we drift into autumn.
