Day 298 – Wall-E is Losing His Marbles

298/365 (Oct 25, 2011) – Ever have one of those days? Weeks? Months?

Trying to juggle things has become a bit more of a challenge. I have always been used to managing as much as two full time contracts, my online teaching, and crazy amounts of volunteer hours. The difference is that where I could manage my own time and block off these hours for that project, I am now bound to work on only ‘work’ projects during the periods where I used to enjoy a bit more flexibility. So it’s a shift in thinking and time management. And sometimes I feel like I am losing my mind in the process, simply because I am trying to juggle so much and I don’t want to drop the ball (or marbles) on anything.

This evening I was scheduled to teach the weather section in the Boating Class, I’ve know for weeks that I was to teach it, but I still found myself finishing my presentation until moments before the class. Of course I probably would have been doing that even if I had been prepared weeks ahead. It’s just always a bit flustering doing something for the first time.

Sleep is highly over-rated anyway.
