250/365 (Sept 7, 2011) – I needed a lot of this today. Up early to see Kirk off and I just felt like a vegetable all day. Not surprisingly, I was less than inspired to take a photo today and so I basically scanned around for ideas in Flickr that I could do, and did a crappy job of trying to match something else I saw. But it does give an idea of how I felt. Small patches of clarity surrounded by lots of blur.
I hated coffee when I was younger, then became addicted to it during college. When I was working in the hairdressing industry I used to drink upwards of 15 cups a day. I have an irregular heartbeat. That’s a cool combination! In University I dialed it back to two or three, and then eventually just one large one in my thermal cup. For a while I quit altogether and switched solely to chai tea. But then we bought a fabulous, expensive, push button does all espresso machine. I’m hooked again, but I keep it down to my one really big coffee (iced, hot, latte, cappuccino, whatever) a day.
I received an email late in the day that indicated that a course that I thought wasn’t going to run, had suddenly been added back to the course calendar and had a complement of students already enrolled. Oh great. So yesterday was day 1, I am swamped, heading into the field tomorrow, and there are already students enrolled in a course that isn’t ready to go.
Guess what I’m doing tonight?

That is a very dark roast. Nice shot (pardon the pun) and how did it taste?
