Day 222 – Memory

222/365 (August 10, 2011) – The first computer I ever used didn’t have a hard drive, it had a cassette-deck attached to it. Then the big 8″ floppies floppies arrived, followed by 5-¼” and then 3-½” media. Zip drives, Jazz Drives, CDR’s CDRW’s, DVD’s DVDRW’s, and eventually flash drives. The first flash drive I used was 128MB and cost …a LOT! Now memory is small and cheap. This is a 64GB flash drive and when in it’s metal case, is virtually indestructible. Waterproof, heatproof, shockproof.

Now, as long as I don’t lose it…..

With the course running this week I’ve just been throwing random objects on random surfaces to try and just get the daily photo. Catchup with processing and posting will have to come later.
