219/365 (August 7, 2011) – When we cleaned out my Granny’s house a number of years back I’ll admit, I took some strange things. Like this little tub of Noxema skin cream and a metal band-aid tin. Both probably 40+ years old. But they are kinda neat, and remind me of the smell of the medicine cabinet in the bathroom on the old farm. I was prone to sunburns, and running around on a farm, I always had scrapes and bruises. I had an awesome childhood!

What wonderful finds. So glad you didn’t put them in the trash bin. They say smell is one of the most memory intensive senses. I can almost smell that noxema myself. Great shot.
