Day 177 -The Best Laid Plans Need Flexibility

177/365 (June 26, 2011) – Today’s plan.

#1. Short (ish) motorcycle ride to take advantage of the sun

#2. Stop down at Granville Island and do some produce shopping

#3. Stop at Save On Foods and pick up a few things we need, like milk

#4. Home and give Kirk a haircut

#5. Head to the yacht club and work on the boat

#6. Back home and use the new hedge trimmer to cut back the bushes rapidly taking over our front yard

Accomplishments

#1. 10 hours on the motorcycle and 320km around the Lower Mainland, out to Chilliwack where we fortuitously intersected with a friend, gathered her, went for lunch, rode to Harrison Lake, had ice cream, went for a walk, said goodbye, rode home via Deroche, Mission, Maple Ridge etc. Arrived home at 9:30 pm.

Missed a few things on that to-do list.

Oh well!
