Day 95 – A Moth to the Flame

95/365 (April 5, 2010) – It’s cloudy today, but sometimes a cloudy sky can provide a great backdrop. Taken on my windowsill, fending off two cats who desperately want to be involved in everything going on.

I love orchids, I’m just not terribly good at growing them. Moth orchids are pretty easy, everything else I’ve tried I’ve pretty much murdered. The first orchid I had was one that someone abandoned by a dumpster in January. The flowers had fallen, and the poor thing was almost dead from the cold. But I brought it in, cared for it, and it has flowered again for me a few times.

This one is one our neighbour gave us for caring for her cat a year or so ago.
