On the walk home today I was wondering when I’d see the first slug the season….and then I came around a bend in the trail…and there it was. A young banana slug. Still small and slender compared to what they grow to. Almost…svelte!
And now that I look at the photo, I see that I got an invertebrate two-fer 😊
