The sweatbox is in flower again; it’s a February regular and I love when it blooms. You wouldn’t ever look twice and the bushes, and you wouldn’t even see the teensy little flowers unless you stopped and leaned right in.
So how do you know when it’s blooming?
You can smell it from 20 feet away.
A heady, heavy, vanilla-jasmine scent that I SO appreciate at this otherwise rather grey and dismal time of year. It hits me like a wave whenever I walk into the driveway from the street.
Today I stopped and leaned in to breathe in the amazing scent, and thought to take a quick snap.
