The glass awnings over the sidewalk in our little neighbourhood village gave an interesting perspective to the downpour.
The day was a soaker.
On the one hand, yes we need rain.
On the flip side, getting 80mm in a day isn’t all that helpful, in the long run, for anything but getting some forest fires slowed down.
