Bunny Tails

by The Philosophical Fish

In the midst of our renovation chaos, the garden is still busy going feral and things need pruning, moving, removing, potting, and watering. Three maple trees of varying bigness needed to go back into the ground or into planters after being hauled out of the ground when things got underway. All three have been stuffed in a corner of the garden, in a shady spot, so they wouldn’t be too stressed.

One went into a big planter, one went into the ground along the front courtyard wall, and the third is waiting for me to find a square planter that I like before it goes back into the courtyard.

In the process of gardening I found a little pot that I’d stuffed something I’d started from seed into. Back at the beginning of the year, when I was starting tomatoes and peppers, I’d bought some seeds for something Called Bunny Tail Grass. Most likely a weed…and I sort of forgot about it once I’d transplanted it into a small clay pot and stuck it out of sight.

The lack of sun made it gangly…but it has a few little poufs that caught my eye.
