One of my team is working on her ROV piloting skills and took the opportunity to practice a bit in Cable Pool in the Capilano River today. Since she was putting it into the water during a small window that I was NOT sitting in a meeting, I escaped the computer and went down to the river with her and her teammate to see the thing in action.
I was amazed at the quality of the video footage not he phone screen, and also by its maneuverability.
Pretty cool tool, and it made for a nice, albeit brief, respite.
