A bloom off a branching of a stalk that was accidentally broken off, months ago, before it had a chance to bloom. I didn’t cut the stem back to the base, and crossed my fingers that it might find a way to reallocate some energy and try again.
And it did…and a few weeks ago three little bumps started to swell and finally, it managed to survive to flower despite our best effort to unintentionally stop it from doing so ❤️
