The fine structure of a wasp is completely stunning when you get up close and personal with it. I don’t really have much more to say about the delicate translucent beauty of such a fragile feature.
I can say that getting such a shot is much easier when the nasty little thing was found expired on the floor in the house (I did not kill it).
But when I set it down to take a few photos of it outside, my mind immediately went down a Monty Python rabbit hole…
