July 25, 2015 – Just an orchid that some friends gave us as a housewarming gift awhile back, I’ve had this one re-bloom at least three times since they gave it to me almost two years ago.

While I struggle with other species of orchids, these ones I can manage to coax into bloom once a year usually. I still have one that I rescued from beside a dumpster many years ago. They don’t take a lot of effort, in fact they thrive on a teensy bit of neglect as long as they are in the right spot.
