Sept 10, 2012 – Seemed appropriate since I am caring for our neighbour’s cat, and I haven’t been able to get that stupid song out of my head for the past week since a conversation at work, followed by the particular episode being on TV the same night.
Say hello to Lucy.
She’s a funny little cat. In earlier days the second I’d arrive she’d bolt for the patio door and disappear over the fence leaving me stewing about her all day and hoping she’d be at the window in the evening. Once or twice she wasn’t there and I wouldn’t sleep well, but then she’d be there in the morning.
Now she’s a bit of a lazy lump, often not even getting up to see who’s come in the door. She still bolts for the patio door and wants out but, as she as a good roll, she keeps one eye on me to make sure she doesn’t get locked out, and if I walk back inside she usually darts in. If I walk in the general direction of the front door she flies in front of me and heads for the kitchen to make sure I don’t get out without treating her to a little dash of milk.
She’s a sweetheart.
Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur. . .

Yay Lucy! She looks happy, even without her boy. And Sheldon Cooper returns to a screen near you in two weeks.

Wow, you saw that fast Clive! And yes, she was happy to go out, but not too far, and careful to not get shut out…. sweet Lucy!
And most definitely looking forward to another season of brilliance 🙂
