47/366 – Time to Make New Friends

February 16, 2012 – I used to work out almost every morning. But that was when I was self employed and worked from home. Ever since I started this new job and took on a compressed work week (more hours worked every day in exchange for every second Friday off), I haven’t had any exercise and I feel it, boy do I feel it.

Time to make friends with some workout gear and get back into a gym routine. I have no excuse for not doing it until now, except that I had to take the gym orientation, so I finally did that and for a paltry $5 a month I now have full access to the gym three floors up. And I have to say, there are worse places to work out than staring out over the inner harbour from the 16th floor.

So off I went, music in ears, to ease back into an exercise routine. Today was day one of getting back into some semblance of shape!
