217/365 (August 6, 2011) – Monday is our 25th anniversary together. We’ve only been married for 2 years and a bit, but we have been together for 25 as of the 8th of August, and it is this date that is the one we have always celebrated rather than the February wedding anniversary. We were going to throw a party, but then some things got in the way (like having to put on a workshop starting Monday) and the stress I’ve been under for the past month just killed the idea. So, a nice dinner out tonight, and we exchanged sparkly shiny objects already (I got a very pretty diamond and white gold necklace, he got a shiny new iPad), and we’ll call it an event for the moment.
Maybe we will throw a party in September when things have calmed down a bit, but right now my days consist of waking up at 3am, instantly feeling sick to my stomach, and panicking over what is going to go wrong, like the fact that I lost 7 of my large fish in transport and now I am short and can’t get any more.
I’m going to collapse next Friday.
