Day 137 - Energy Efficiency

137/365 (May 17, 2011) – I used to be the gadget Queen. Now I just try to simplify things. A couple of years ago I realized that my hand mixer just sat there and came out once in a blue moon. So I got rid of it. I have a nice Kitchen Aid Stand mixer and it’s fabulous, but a bit of overkill when I just want a little bit of whipped cream. So I go back to good old arm-strong whipping with a whisk.

Takes a bit of energy, but I like it.

And when i look at the end of it, it reminds me of electrons whizzing around, or at least what all my textbooks imply they look like.
