I’m not really a major hockey buff. I mean, I live with a goalie and i’ve only actually seen him play a few times (a few is three….right?). But I actually do get interested when either of Vancouver’s teams (Canucks – NHL, Giants – Juniors), or Canada (International, Olympics, etc) are in the final running. It was 17 years ago, the year we moved into this condo, that the Canucks last made it to the finals. Vancouver gets a little stupid when we make it this far…here’s hoping we manage to go all the way.

Hate to point out the one small flaw in your article…the last time the Canucks made the finals (as in the actual Stanley Cup finals) was…ummm….last year, though it was an ending that one could not be blamed for trying to forget. 🙂
You could always use the Tuesday night excuse for your kirk-watching fail…I’ve only seen David play soccer once, though it’s only been 8ish years.
