52/365 (February 21, 2011)- We didn’t have remote controls, text was a noun, not a verb, and it belonged in a book. A google was a number, the web was built by a spider and contained bugs – OK, some of that stayed the same. Books were always on paper, we played music on things called records and tapes and listened to it on a Walkman, we ate apples rather than used them for communication, PC meant “politically correct”, lawn darts had metal pointed tips, telephones were attached to the wall by a cord, flip-flops were called thongs……and light bulbs looked more like this….they were called incandescent and threw a warm mellow light that people didn’t fight over. They were easy to dispose of too, and people didn’t spout off that they were dangerous to your health.
Ahhh, the good old days.
(Today was supposed to be a self portrait for the Daily Shoot…yeah, like THAT’S gonna happen!)

As one who is older than “when I was your age,” I think it appropriate that your Wall E old timer needs the extra light from an incandescent bulb to see the fluorescent…13w=75w my ass!
