Day 280 - Q-Tips

280/365 (October 7, 2010) – Nothin’ much, just some good ol’ Q-tips.

I find it interesting how in Canada we tend to refer to so many things by brand name while our neighbours to the South are more item descriptive.

  • Q-tips vs cotton swabs
  • Band-Aids vs bandage
  • Kleenex vs tissue

And so on…

Ah the Q-Tip. An old question – If you’re not supposed to put them in your ears………WHAT ARE THEY FOR?????
