276/365 (October 3, 2010) – More than 3000 motorcycles participate in the annual Christmas Toy Run each year in Vancouver. The ride starts at Coquitlam Centre and ends at the PNE grounds where riders donate toys and money so children around the Lower Mainland can recieve toys for Christmas.
Predominanlty Harleys, since it was originally started by the HA’s, but there were definitely a fair number of sport bikes.
I thought it woudl ba alittle claustrophobic to do the ride so we just drove over to make a donation, but after seeing it, I think we will do it on the bikes next year.
Amazingly, in that sea of motorcycles, we recognized two bikes as the ones that followed us all the way to and from Squamish on a ride yesterday, and then the owners showed up and we made formal introductions. We chatted with them for a few moments before saying goodbye and exchanged hopes that we’d see them up at Starbucks in Squamish again.
In a crowd of more than 3000 bikes…we run into people we only met yesterday, in another town. Life is funny.

LOL! That is great!
I would love this! Aside from the fact that it’s wooden and rather old, lol.
