275/365 (October 2, 2010) – You know Thanksgiving and Halloween are on their way when….
Made a quick run to the USA (as in sat at the border waiting to cross for over an hour, 15 minutes in Blaine to pick up a parcel, sat at the border again for another 20 minutes to get back to Canada), before getting home and taking advantage of the sunny late afternoon to take a ride up to Squamish for a coffee at Starbuck’s. I’ve discovered that motorcyclists will ride for hours to go get get a coffee if the road is good and the weather is nice.
Two other bikes slipped in behind us and followed us the entire ride up the Sea to Sky. We finished our coffees at the same time…so they followed us all the way back down. Felt a little badly that we didn’t sit together and chat, oh well, maybe we’ll run into each other again. It’s a popular ride.
