Day 211 - Pajos Fish 'n' Chips

212/365 (July 31, 2010) – Quite simply the only place to go if you want authentic, really awesome, not icky gooey over-battered fish ‘n’ chips. And we haven’t been here for them in about 9 years!

No excuse! I think we just get into a routine and forget the little treasures. I was poking through another Flickr user’s photo-stream and stumbled on a photo of Pajos. Instant craving! So today we hopped on the motorcycles and headed out to Steveston and Garry Point Park to reacquaint ourselves with the best fish ‘n’ chips around.

They have three choices of fish – cod, halibut, and salmon. How does one choose? One doesn’t, one orders the “One of each”

Pure heaven in a paper cone! A true taste of the West Coast. I think if it wasn’t for the bikes, it might have been longer until that divine taste crossed my palate again….

They look amazing! Love the presentation too, I’ll keep them in mind if I’m ever in Vancouver again. Nice shot!

Ohhhh … fish and chips!
I know it’s sad but they’re my favourite food of all time. When we make a trip to the coast to photograph birds, I will never leave the area until I’ve had my fish, chips and mushy peas. These look verry appealing!
