Day 65 – Saturday Afternoon in the Marina

65/365 (March 6, 2010) – Home again, home again. Bring on the weather. The day was stunning and we got out on the scooter and visited Granville Island for some much needed groceries. The city seems to be breathing a collective sigh of relief. The Olympics are over. Canada did amazingly. And things are getting back to normal in Vancouver.

In the afternoon a friend called us up and invited us down to her sailboat. We whiled away the remainder of the day sitting in the warmth of the sun, 15 C. Can you ask for more in March? We seem to have skipped winter, skimmed through Spring, and are heading right for summer.
