Well, this post was supposed to say “Mine” to the photos below…. but now I’m not so sure. Currently my name is on that SOLD sign… but it might not stay there…
I had ordered this, and then was told to expect a wait until November. Then I got a call last week that they got one in for someone else, but when it arrived he decided to not buy it (He apparently ordered it in June). It was almost the vehicle I had ordered, but not quite, it has a fabric interior rather than the leather I ordered and it came in with the tires I specifically said I didn’t want.
So they sent it out this morning to get the leather done, and the dealer sent me the quotes on the accessories I wanted. Everything looked fine…almost. Not so small issue of tires.
On three occasions I was specific that I wouldn’t accept the truck with Dunlop tires and I was assured that they would get different tires (we asked for Michelin and Kirk gave them the model) and we would pay for the upgrade which he more or less implied wouldn’t be much.
Then today he sends me the accessory quote and the tires are full price. $1100 full price! He says they won’t do a trade on the tires and I should just consider them an extra set.
I just sent him an email telling him he might consider the deal falling through….
I’m a little frustrated.
